IT Sales / Account Manager

 

Established over 25 years ago, SchoolCare has built an extensive education client list across the south of England.  The company ethos is to provide high quality solutions that both meet and then exceed the customers’ expectations with this recognised through our ISO 9001:2008 accreditations.

SchoolCare provides IT consultancy, hardware procurement, installation and support services across a wide portfolio of hardware product ranges with specialism in enterprise level wireless networks, audio visual systems, digital signage, network installation, server virtualisation and telecom systems.

Due to continued success we are further expanding our Field Sales / Account Manager team and looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated professional responsible to both maintain existing customer accounts and develop new business opportunities.

Based at our Christchurch offices, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the IT industry with a detailed technical understanding of network implementation, hardware and software solutions; knowledge in any of our above specialisms would be a distinct advantage.  Above all, the ideal candidate will excel in customer service being able to listen and understand IT requirements given and excel in designing, costing and presenting a solution.

We are looking for a dedicated professional with excellent verbal and numeracy skills, together with a proven sales and account management track record.  Whilst an existing customer base will be given, the drive and enthusiasm to go out and find, develop and grow new business will be expected.

In return the person that fills this position will have the full support of a busy but friendly team, specialist engineering knowledge always available and an on-going, successful marketing campaign will bring constant new opportunities.  This role could provide the candidate with great career progression and a chance to build skills in a wide range of the latest technologies.  Each customer will bring varying levels of challenge and could, potentially, be anywhere in the UK; so things are never dull!

The position comes with a basic salary, uncapped commission and OTE of £30,000p.a.  Working hours 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
