SchoolCare Helpline
Q. What is the SchoolCare Helpline?
A. The SchoolCare Support Helpline is a technical support telephone service available to all our customers free of charge - apart from normal telephone charges - between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays). The telephone number is:
0845 8622100
If you have a SchoolCare warranty, hardware or technical support contract, you must call the SchoolCare Support Helpline with your membership number before any claim under the terms of a contract unless we specifically state otherwise. This enables us to make sure our SchoolCare Support contract holders receive a priority service.
Q. How can it help me?
A. If you have any problems with your ICT system, a call to the SchoolCare Support Helpline allows us to give you advice and information that may help resolve the problem.
Q. What if your SchoolCare Support Helpline is busy?
A. If all our technical support staff are busy, your call will be redirected to one of our staff will add you to the call-back log. We will then call you back as soon as possible. Alternatively you may email us at support@schoolcare.co.uk with your problem and we will either call or email you as soon as possible. We have set up our system in this way so that you are not left listening to hold music for long periods of time.
Q. What if your SchoolCare Helpline cannot help me?
A. Our SchoolCare Support Helpline is the first line of support for our customers. In fact, we sort out around 80% of problems over the telephone. However, if we cannot fix your problem, your options depend on the nature of the problem and whether warranty or a SchoolCare Support contract covers you. In most cases the next stage is to arrange a visit by one of our engineers or for you to return faulty equipment to us.
