SchoolCare ICT Technician
Our extensive experience in installing and supporting a large number of educationally oriented ICT solutions has resulted in a great deal of useful feedback from our customers. We have used this feedback to create a unique service that meets the technical support and training needs of our customers in an effective and efficient manner.
Whether formal or not, schools in a limited geographical area can be regarded as being part of a ‘pyramid’. The services of an ICT Technician, while desirable, are usually not affordable for individual schools, however, sharing the time and cost of an ICT Technician between a number of schools in a region is an attractive proposition. It allows even small schools to benefit from regular contact with a trained ICT professional. There is no substitute for dealing with a known individual on a regular basis for technical support, training and sound advice.
We have therefore devised the concept of a SchoolCare ICT Technician. This individual would be a trained SchoolCare engineer who would be dedicated to a region containing at least five schools. On the same day each week he would attend the area and be available for a number of hours per school according to the contract agreed. It would be the same engineer on a regular basis and he would therefore learn about your school, your ICT equipment and your particular needs.
We offer a number of set support packages which serve the needs of many establishments

The price of the service is extremely competitive and costs far less than other more traditional methods of technical support and training.
It is also hoped that by creating a sense of co-operation and of sharing between schools in a similar area, the strength of ICT within those schools will only benefit and closer links will be established between schools, e.g. Wide Area Networks, Virtual Private Networks, a Pyramid Intranet etc. Resources and experience can be shared in a structured manner.
