Many people are rightly concerned about the potential impact of the developing Coronavirus situation and how it will affect them and the impact on schools and businesses.

We are sending this update to all our customers, to highlight the measures we have in place to ensure business continuity and ensuring the needs of our customers are met, if the situation escalates.

Keeping our Business Running and our Customers Supported

Over the last 3 years PSD Group (which includes – CCC IT Solutions / SchoolCare and Broadband4) have invested heavily in technology to allow us to work efficiently from anywhere, including in situations such as the current threat and the albeit slim possibility of the NHS suggesting a large scale self-quarantine.

  • Telephony – As the PSD Group own and operate our own private voice network for our customers, we have access to a large portfolio of products, allowing our teams to work together and collaborate from anywhere. Our complete offering of telephone and remote support will remain available to our customers no matter where our engineers are based.
  • Cloud Solutions – Internal systems based around Cloud CRM, Remote Desktop Services and Office 365 allow our technical and sales teams to access and collaborate on company data, no matter where they are based.
  • Remote Access – The ability to monitor and access customer systems remotely is the core of our business. PSD Group engineers can be securely access customer networks to deliver the necessary level of support and keep their networks running smoothly.
  • IT Equipment and Infrastructure – All our staff have access to the latest hardware and software to allow them to work efficiently from anywhere, be it in day to day work or in extreme circumstances.

Will there be any other impact?

Please be assured that PSD Group have attempted to mitigate the business impact of this evolving situation and deliver essential services to our customers.

At the time of writing we are observing constraints of some hardware in the distribution channels which may impact installation timelines, however we are working with manufacturers and distributors to keep supply lines open.
